As you will see in other areas of this website, Sikhs have had a varied and challenging time becoming accepted in the UK. 

Despite all the challenges that they faced, they remained determined and courageous to succeed. As a result, over the last 100 years, Sikhs have flourished all over the world. The British Sikh Report 2017 states that 71% of Sikhs currently in the UK were born in England. This shows that the Sikh community has become deeply embedded in British society and continues to raise families in this country.
